Don’t let the guys take all the credit for Valentine's Day. Show your BFFs how much you love them by hosting the cutest Galentine’s brunch! A brunch is the easiest way to gather everyone together on the weekend for some drinks, food, and fun.
Tip: Valentine’s Day is on a Friday this year. Host your brunch the weekend before!
Grab a heart shaped waffle maker, get a couple dozen of farm fresh eggs from your local chicken tender, and buy a few bottles of champagne for the best mimosas.
But beyond the cute decor and delicious brunch you’ll make, grab a DIY bucket of flowers from Kate’s Flower Farm in Farmington Hills!
At KFF, we offer DIY buckets for times like this when you want to hang with your girls and make something beautiful! Not everyone has all the craft supplies to make the detailed things you see online, but you know what’s easier? Flowers! You can’t go wrong and, honestly, they will always be beautiful… even if you’ve never worked at a florist shop before!
Here’s what you’ll need:
-DIY Bucket from Kate’s Flower Farm (find it here) or 8-12 bunches of flowers from your local florist
-Snips preferred, or disinfected scissors, for every person
-Clean vases, jars for every person
-Access to clean, cool water
Grab what looks pretty, trim the ends, and away you go!
Tip: Don’t cut every stem the same height! Let some of the ‘heavier’ or larger blooms take the space towards the mouth of the vase (still allowing for space between the bottom of the bloom and the top of the jar), and the more delicate blooms can stand tall above the rest!
The DIY buckets from our shop are such a fun time for people to enjoy making something together, yet their own individual creations.
When it’s all said and done, everyone will have something beautiful to take home and enjoy throughout Valentine’s week! Get ahead of the boyfriends and husbands by letting the ladies choose which flowers are their favorites from the bunch!
If you want to upscale the event even further, grab some wet floral foam from your local Michaels or Joann's store, a few fresh flower bunches from the florist and create these champagne toppers BEFORE your brunch!
They’ll double as beautiful centerpieces until you’re ready to crack open the extra champagne bottles.
Pre-order your DIY Bucket from Kate’s Flower Farm now! Open 7 days a week, you can get the bucket of blooms delivered fresh for your event.
